V-line thermometers are primarily used in industrial applications such as Marine and Heating markets. The durability and vibration-resistance of the product lend themselves to these more robust end uses. We offer a broad selection of temperature ranges in both straight and 90° angled cases in 110mm, 150mm, and 200mm lengths.
Case materials are Polypropylene (up to 120°C) and Aluminum for higher ranges. Lens glass offers a clear view of the scale in both Blue Spirit (up to 300°C) and Mercury fillings. Pockets are available in Brass and Stainless Steel, with standard connections as 1/2” BSP, with other threads available on request.
The straight-cased V-Lines are fitted with screw-in pockets as standard. Angled V-Lines are supplied with push-on pockets as standard and tightened with grub screws.
Find the best Remote Reading thermometer now!
This Remote Reading thermometer is used for measuring the temperature of the corrosive and non-corrosive fluid in all industries. It operates in an aggressive and non-aggressive environment. Linear dials and temperature compensation lines assure an accurate temperature indication at varying ambient conditions.
The remote-reading thermometers are fitted with a capillary of custom-made lengths, ranging from 50 mm to 50.000 mm.
These thermometers provide a reliable and accurate reading of the process when a remote measurement of temperature is necessary.
· Available temperature ranges between -200°C up to +800°C.
· Also available with contacts or microswitches.
The remote-reading thermometers can also be manufactured in alternative cases such as square or rectangular glass-fiber-reinforced Noryl cases.
Piston Snubber
A Piston Snubber is a device used to suppress (“snub”) excess force or rapid movement in mechanical systems. Pressure snubbers are designed to dampen the effect of pressure pulses and spikes to assure longer service life and readability of pressure gauges in harsh applications.
It is offered in a choice of porous, piston, or throttling designs, and these units can handle various media, from the air and other gases to water, steam, gasoline, and oils. In addition, pressure snubbers protect pressure gauges from the harmful effects of vibrations generated in a pressurized system with pulsations such as positive displacement pumps or compressors.
The pressure snubber works by evening out pressure fluctuations. Snubbers do not alter the pressure of the process but reduce the pulsation in the line, thereby improving the stability of the gauge reading while extending the practical lifetime of the gauge.

Low-pressure gauges are capsule-type pressure gauges used for accurate measurement of low pressures. These gauges are commonly used to measure air, water, natural gas, or other media not corrosive to brass/bronze.
The Low-Pressure Gauge contains a little U-shaped tube with liquid in it. When pressure is applied to either side of the gauge, the water in the tube rises one way or the other, and you can determine how pressurized your system is by reading the markings indicated by this tube. Now you can easily buy a Low-Pressure Gauge from jyinstruments!
